Adventure That Sparked a Dream
Julie’s journey to St. Thomas began in 1991 when her adventurous spirit led her from Minneapolis to the Virgin Islands. From the moment she arrived, she was captivated by the white sand beaches, endless sunshine, and vibrant culture. Adventure has always been a part of Julie’s life, and she has traveled the world seeking experiences that push her limits and broaden her perspective. In 1996, while exploring Costa Rica, she tried her first zipline and describes it as one of the most exhilarating and inspiring moments of her life. That experience sparked a dream: to one day bring the thrill of ziplining to St. Thomas.
A Love for St. Thomas
Years later, Julie decided it was time to turn that dream into a reality. Finding the perfect property on a small island like St. Thomas was no easy task, but in 2011, she and Marc secured eight acres of lush rainforest on St. Peter Mountain. It was the ideal location, high above the island, surrounded by natural beauty, and ready to host a zipline course unlike any other. Julie envisioned more than just a ride; she wanted to create a full Caribbean experience, one where guests could connect with the island’s culture, flora, and fauna while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views.
Marc Bryan, a St. Thomas native with deep family roots on the north side of the island, was the perfect partner to bring Julie’s vision to life. With a degree in architecture and years of experience designing and constructing homes and villas across the island, Marc combined his design expertise with his knowledge of the local environment to build a course that is both safe and stunning. Every aspect of Tree Limin’ Extreme reflects Marc’s attention to detail and commitment to quality, from the layout of the ziplines to the way the course blends with the tropical rainforest.
