Planning a ziplining adventure in St. Thomas? Whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned pro, knowing how to prepare will make your experience run smoothly. Here’s everything you need to know before you zipline through the canopy.

What to Wear Ziplining: Stay Comfortable, Safe & Sun-Protected

Choosing the right attire can make or break your experience. All guests are required to wear secure, closed-toe shoes. If you didn’t bring sneakers on your Caribbean vacation, don’t worry, we have rentals. Secured closed toe shoes are essential for safety on the course.

When it comes to clothing, we recommend comfortable athletic wear. You’ll be fitted into a full-body harness, so we recommend longer shorts or pants to prevent discomfort from the leg straps.

Since you’ll be outdoors for the entire tour, sun protection is key. Lightweight long sleeves or SPF-protective clothing are ideal, especially if you’re sensitive to the sun. Sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen are also highly recommended.

Don’t have everything you need? No problem. You can grab a quick-dry SPF protective shirt on site, either as part of a souvenir package or from the gift shop. We also offer hats and bandanas, which work great as a barrier between your head and helmet while adding an extra layer of comfort.

What to Bring Ziplining: Essentials

Less is more when it comes to what you bring on a zipline tour. Small, hands-free bags, like cross-body bags, are perfect for carrying essentials such as your phone for photos and videos.

If you’re bringing a larger bag or tote, lockers are available for rent on site for $5.

One thing you absolutely shouldn’t forget: water. Staying hydrated is critical when you’re outside in the sun. We have options to help you carry your water bottle during the tour so you can stay refreshed throughout.

What to Expect Ziplining: 6 Zips & 2 Sky Walks

Once you’re geared up, you’ll spend approximately 2 to 2.5 hours ziplining through the tropical canopy of St. Thomas. It’s an immersive outdoor experience with 6 ziplines and 2 suspension bridges each showcasing incredible panoramic views.

Also, a heads up, there are no restrooms once you’re out on the course. Be sure to use the facilities on site before your tour begins.

Upgrade Your Experience: Zipline Souvenir Packages

Want to make the most of your adventure? Our curated souvenir packages are designed to give you both practical essentials for the tour and keepsakes to take home.

The Essential Package includes a cotton tee, bandana, water bottle, koozie, and your choice of a magnet or keychain. Upgrade to the Jungle Pilot Package, to include a quick-dry SPF shirt, perfect for staying cool and protected while ziplining.
