A Guide for Non-Zipliners at Tree Limin’ Extreme

Group of people ziplining in St. Thomas at Tree Limin' Extreme

Not everyone in the group is ready to step off a platform and fly through the rainforest, and that is completely okay. You can still enjoy your time while your family or friends take on the adventure. Whether you want great views, a relaxed beach stop, or just a place to unwind, there are easy options close by.

Explore Nearby While They Zip

If you have a vehicle, there are a few great spots just minutes from the course that make for an easy and enjoyable outing.

Mountain Top is about five minutes up the road and offers stunning panoramic views. From the top you can see Magens Bay, the British Virgin Islands, and the surrounding islands, the same views your group will be zipping alongside. Inside you will find the island’s largest souvenir store and their well known banana daiquiris, which make it a fun and easy stop.

A short drive away is Drake’s Seat, a historic overlook with sweeping views of the north side. It is said that Sir Francis Drake used this point to watch for pirate ships entering the harbor. It is a quick stop, but worth it for the view and a bit of island history.

If you prefer something more relaxed, head down to Hull Bay, about ten minutes away. This is a quieter beach where you can take a walk, sit by the water, or enjoy a drink or a bite at The Shack at Hull Bay. It is a laid-back local spot and a great way to spend an hour or two.

Can You Watch Without Participating?

If you would rather stay close, you can still be part of the experience.

While the full course moves throughout the jungle, we are able to bring non-zipliners up to watch the final zip, known as the “Yo-Yo”. This is the longest and fastest line on the tour and one of the most exciting moments of the experience. You will be able to watch your group come in at speed, take photos and videos, and share in the excitement as they finish the course.

It is a great option if you want to stay involved without actually going on the lines yourself.

Relax and Enjoy the View

If your plan is to stay back and take it easy, we have space for that too.

We offer hammocks and lounging areas where you can sit back, enjoy the breeze, and take in the surroundings while your group is out on the course. It is a comfortable option if you are not looking to go anywhere else and just want a quiet place to relax.

If you are planning your day and deciding how to get around, transportation can make a difference. Whether you choose to rent a car or take a taxi, having a plan will help you make the most of your time on the island. Check out our transportation guide for more details.

Book your tour now and let the adventure begin.
